We couldn’t resist when Frontiers North came to us with the idea of creating the first-ever Churchill Travel Guide App.
The handy smart phone app gives travellers inside knowledge about off-the-map attractions while bringing them even closer to subarctic wildlife and culture. It shares detailed information on everything from where to eat to why the northern lights glow. Best of all, the app gives visitors an easy way to record every interaction they have with wildlife for sharing and reminiscing later.
“We’ve taken advantage of mobile technology to allow travellers to go deeper into their Churchill experience. Not only can you take a photo of a polar bear, but you can also pinpoint the bear’s location, record the time and share that with your friends back home – all from the phone in your pocket,” said Vergil Kanne, Interactive Producer and Technical Director, Tactica Interactive.
